Migrate twice a year travelling up to 4000 kms per year. Caribou have flat antlers with single or double shovels and long tines protruding from forehead and face. Vast herds numbered hundreds of thousands at on time but the huge decline in recent years now make caribou the greatest wildlife concerns in Canada.
